How to begin

The first meeting is a consultation on what you hope to achieve for the allocated budget. We need to look at:

  • feasibility of your project
  • listing your most important goals to achieve
  • review existing conditions and parameters

This French Manor began as a layout of room sizes in a general relationships of one room to the other, and then was elevated to determine how it would look.

It is important to take a 2 dimensional drawing and look at it  from various angles. This will open up discussion on what does not look right or relate well to the look of the house.

How to use the backyard is one of the most important outdoor consideration, since this will be where you enjoy your free time and how to relax in your home.

The site plan is a good way to show some of the landscape possibilities in relationship to the placement of the house.

The aerial view can show show you sun angles that will shade the house.

The City House

This is a two-story house of approximately 4,000sf shown in stucco and stone.

Again, the site plan shows the possibilities of house to remaining yard area and where a pool could go. The house is on a corner lot that is 80 x 120, which has certain restrictions to consider.

This is a project where the garage was placed in front due to lot restriction, and how you can dress up this element with attractive garage doors and columns.

We did the Hill Country House as a new collection of designs relating to the Texas Hill County. The material used is a stone veneer facade.

Even the interior can now be visualized for many of the 3D Architectural Designs.

This a recent remodeling project that was photographed so you can see the before against the after.

This Greek Revival home sits on 2.5 acres of beautifully landscape piece of property.

In this photo you are looking down the front porch.

This is a photograph of the family room before the project began.

In this photo you see the same Family room after the renovation.

Here is a view of the kitchen before the renovation.

And, how the kitchen finally turned out.

This photo shows how the foyer staircase looked before starting the revovation.

And, how the staircase looks after the renovation.

Spencersmith Homes uses the design-build process to accomplish many of its projects, much like the Greek Revival renovation above.
